Started as a two-person side project in 2018.
Northfield began when our founders, both in-house at competing consumer brands, kept running into the same problem: great products with marketing that undersold them. They started freelancing together on weekends, then left their jobs entirely once the client list outgrew the spare time.
Eight years later, we're still deliberately small. Every project is led by a senior strategist and senior designer who stay with you from the first workshop to the final launch — never handed off to a bench of juniors halfway through.
We've worked with seed-stage startups and 40-year-old family businesses alike. The size of the company matters less to us than whether the leadership is ready to make a real decision about who they are.
We believe most companies don't have a marketing problem — they have a clarity problem. Our job is to find the true, specific thing your business does better than anyone else, and build every part of your brand around saying it well.
